Jeremiah Pinto, 2024

Made in the memory of our good friend Jeremiah, who was deported from the Australia in 2024.

Jeremiah came to Australia full of hopes and dreams. He came to study and to work. He came to make a better life for himself and his family. He came to be a part of our community.

But unfortunately for Jeremiah, he was unable to secure a visa.

No matter how hard he tried, no matter how much he wanted to stay, he was forced to leave.

What Jeremiah loved more than anything was hanging out with his friends. This was the inspiration for Deporter. We wanted to create an app that is designed for organising social events and gatherings.
